About the Course

Develop the confidence and skills to think, speak, argue, and persuade in Arabic.

This course is designed for Arabic learners who want to strengthen their language proficiency while developing effective debating, public speaking, critical thinking, and persuasive communication skills in Arabic.

Through the Arabic Khatawaat approach, students learn how to move beyond memorized language and use Arabic strategically to express ideas, defend opinions, respond to opposing viewpoints, and participate in meaningful discussions.

Students will learn how to structure an argument, introduce a position, provide evidence, ask effective questions, challenge ideas respectfully, and respond spontaneously — all while developing the linguistic tools needed to communicate clearly and persuasively in Arabic.

🏆 Practice Through Real Debate

The course emphasizes learning by doing. Students will participate in guided discussions, mini-debates, role-plays, persuasive speeches, and structured debate activities.

Topics may include education, culture, technology, society, media, globalization, the environment, and contemporary issues, allowing students to develop both their Arabic proficiency and their ability to engage with complex ideas.

The goal is not simply to learn more Arabic vocabulary.

The goal is to give students the linguistic confidence and debating tools to use Arabic as a vehicle for ideas.
